There's not much info about Goro on the internet—not in English anyway. But this terrific 1976 LP seems to imply that the handsome Japanese singer paid Los Angeles, U.S.A. a visit at some point in the mid-1970s. According to the large booklet of travel photos included with the record, Goro didn't actually get to see much of the city—and he spent a good deal of his California vacation without his shirt on. I don't understand Japanese, but from the title of this particular song, I think Goro might be singing about that guy I went on a blind date with last week.
