Bogdan Czyżewski and Danuta Rinn

Here's an LP from (early 1970s?) Poland that I found at Cheapo Records in Cambridge, Massachusetts last month. I can't tell you much about Bodgan Czyżewski and Danuta Rinn except that in the late '60s, Danuta looked a lot like my Auntie Karen. If anyone reading this can provide more info on the duo, that would be great! My web search did turn up some neat YouTube clips, which I've included below with photos and notes (in Polish) from the LP.

Danuta Rinn and Bogdan Czyżewski were a stage duo and privately a couple. They were performing from early 60's till around 71-72 (they have divorced in that time). After the split of the duo both started solo careers, but only Danuta became widely popular. She recorded her biggest hits in the middle and late of the 70's and stayed popular till collapse of the communism in Poland. In the late 80's she was involved in "Solidarność" democratic movement. In the 90's & 00's she kept performing and recording achieving a cult status. She was known by her stage personality, energetic performances and great sense of humour. Danuta passed away in 2008, she never established a family after the divorce with Bogdan, what she considered as the biggest fail of her entire live. Bogdan is still alive and performing occasionally on the "retro" concerts with repertoire of their former duo.
