When the hipsters at Groove Merchant record store in San Francisco threw this one into the discount bins, they obviously failed to notice that this particular copy was autographed by Ginny Tiu herself!

Released in 1967, this wonderfully zany LP (it also contains a cover of "Red River Valley" as well as "Do-Re-Mi" from THE SOUND OF MUSIC) showcases the talents of pianist Ginny Tiu and her equally long-braided sisters, Vicky and Elizabeth... with brother Alex Tiu on drums.

The Tius made a splash with their TV appearances in the late 1950s and early '60s, even popping up in the 1962 Elvis Presley film, GIRLS! GIRLS! GIRLS! You can see a list of movies and TV shows that feature Ginny Tiu and her siblings here, find trivia, a short biography and see what Ginny's up to nowadays here, listen to four tracks from a different Ginny Tiu LP on the Boot Sale Sounds blog here and find Ed Sullivan's notes from the back of the Ginny Tiu Revue LP here:
