Born 55 years ago in Panama City, Panama (tomorrow's his birthday!), Luis Miguel González Borloni (aka. Miguel Bosé) was destined to become a star. His mother, Lucia Bosé, is a famous Italian actress and his father is renowned bullfighter Luis Miguel Dominguín. Young Miguel was assigned filmmaker Luchino Visconti as his Godfather, and his sister's Godfather is family friend Pablo Picasso, who once created this portrait of Luis Miguel, Sr. Miguel Bosé began his career in the movies, appearing in international art-house hits like SUSPIRIA (1977), HIGH HEELS (1991), QUEEN MARGOT (1994), and FRENCH TWIST (1995). He kicked his singing career into gear in 1977, quickly becoming a pop-music sensation in Italy, Spain, France, and all throughout Latin America. Bosé's outspoken support of the gay community has often led people to question his sexuality, though Miguel claims to be straight and doesn't understand why everyone constantly assumes that he's gay.

In any case, as Jose Nakagawa of Yahoo! Answers says—Miguel Bosé is a cutie, his songs are great, and we love him no matter if he's str8, bi, or gay. You can read more about the handsome singer and see his complete filmography and discography on Wikipedia here, and visit his Spanish-language official website here, where you can find out about his upcoming concerts. The numerous photos of Miguel Bosé included below are from the back and inside sleeve of his 1982 collection of hits.
